"The bill to provide the condition to introduce the Original Constitutional Amendments to the Diet of Japan (National Assembly of Japan)" may pass the Diet in a week or so.

This bill provides the condition of the first step A of the following constitutional amendment process.

"Introduction Bill" Article 68, Clause 2 - Point Members of the Diet may introduce the Original Constitutional Amendments to the Diet with approval of more than 100 members of the House of Representatives and more than 50 members of the House of Councilors. Amendment Process A : Introduction of the Original Constitutional Amendments to the Diet B : Discussion and Revision of the Original Constitutional Amendments in the Diet C : Ratification of the Final Constitutional Amendments by the Diet through a concurring vote of two-thirds or more of all the members of each House D : Ratification of the Final Constitutional Amendments by the Referendum

However, it is possible to think that the Article 96 of the Constitution (see below) provides the condition of the first step A . If so, the bill is against the Constituion.
